LFT Parameter SGOT and SGPT

I had fever with joint pain. Doctor suggested blood test. 

Blood test report says higher SGOT and STPT.

Please suggest what 

1. medication 

2. Diet 

3. Precaution

  1. Hello! From what you’re saying (fever, joint pain, liver enzymes elevated), it may be an infection or inflammation in the body which probably affects the liver. To know what treatment to suggest, the exact cause must be found. Possible causes are:
    – Hepatitis (A, B +/- D, C, E)
    – NAFLD
    – Epstein Barr virus, CMV
    – Systemic lupus erythematosus
    – Autoimmune hepatitis
    – Reactive arthritis
    All of this can explain your symptoms and lab findings, so you need a medical consult and further evaluation.
    Until then you can do this:
    * Rest
    * Hydration: water, tea, soup (avoid alcohol entirely)
    * Easy diet for the liver (avoid fried foods and medication that can affect the liver like paracetamol)
    It is recommended to follow up with your doctor to prevent your condition to escalate.
