Hello Friends,
As I turned 47 last week, I took a moment for
self-reflection—how our bodies start changing once we enter our 40s. While this
varies for some, for most of us, the gradual signs of aging begin to appear.
Many of us continue to feel young at heart, which is a great mindset,
but in hindsight, I realize that part of it was also self-denial—until a
part of the body starts showing signs of fatigue.
I’d like to appeal to my friends and colleagues: Don’t
wait for the signs to show up before taking action. It’s wise to start
caring for every aspect of your health—not just the heart, but also the skin,
hair, bones, muscles etc.
Of course, every individual is different. How and when aging
affects us depends largely on our eating habits, lifestyle, and overall
health choices over the years. But one thing is certain—age will
eventually catch up all body parts.
For some, the heart or lungs may weaken by 45, while
issues with skin, hair, and bones might appear later. Others may
experience the reverse. Different parts of the body will decline at
different times for different people—but eventually, it happens to all. That’s
a fact.
This isn’t a reason to worry—it’s a reason to prepare.
Accepting this reality and taking proactive care early can help delay
and reduce the impact of aging. I hope my experience encourages you to
start prioritizing your health today.
Stay well.
